KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has released its 2018-19 Honors Court, which recognizes men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who have excelled academically this past year. Rockford University's Cristian Bermeo (Chicago, Ill.) was honored by the organization with his first ever selection to the NABC Honors Court.
In order to be named to the NABC Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, a varsity player, have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the end of the 2017-18 academic year, spent at least one year at their current institution and participate at an NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
