Calvin Toliver is entering his first season as a member of the Rockford University football coaching staff. Toliver will serve as the program's pass game coordinator, quarterbacks coach and wide receivers coach.

Coach Toliver joins the Regents after spending the 2018 season at Thiel College, where he was the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Tomcats.

Before joining the Tomcats' coaching staff, he spent two seasons at Cheyney University. In 2017, Toliver was the quarterbacks coach and pass game coordinator, after serving as the team's wide receivers and quarterbacks coach in 2016.

Prior to his time at Cheyney, Toliver coached at both Delaware Valley University and Valley Forge Military Academy. Toliver worked with the quarterbacks and wide receivers as well as serving as the pass game coordinator from 2012-13 at Valley Forge Military Academy. He then spent the 2015 season as the quarterbacks coach and quality control at Delaware Valley University. 

Before joining the coaching ranks, Toliver played professionally as both a quarterback and wide receiver in 2011 for the Wenatchee Venom of the Indoor Football League.

Toliver, a native of Atlanta, Ga., played both quarterback and h-back at NCAA Division I (FCS) Delaware State University. He graduated from there in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in History and a minor in Political Science.
