Terry Wiltshire is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the Rockford University baseball program. He brings with him not only playing but coaching experience to the Regent dugout. Prior to joining the Regents coaching staff, Wiltshire spent two years as the head coach of the Rockford Rays of the Metropolitan Collegiate Summer Baseball League. He also spent one season at Freeport High school as an assistant varsity baseball coach. Wiltshire's coaching duties at Rockford will include working with the hitters and catchers.
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Wiltshire spent four years as a member of the Rockford University baseball program. During that time frame, the Regents finished as high as second in the NACC and made the conference tournament three consecutive seasons. Wiltshire had his best season his senior year as the team's primary catcher when he played in 33 games and tallied 35 hits for a .324 batting average. He finished his collegiate career with 87 hits, 38 runs batted in, 9 doubles, a .314 batting average and a .383 on-base percentage.
Wiltshire graduated from Rockford University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. He then earned his MBA from Rockford University in 2016.
