Josh Rohde is entering his first season as the head men's soccer coach at Rockford University. He joins the Regents after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at UW-Whitewater. Rohde is now the twentieth head coach in the program's 56-year history.

Rohde brings a wealth of knowledge and a tradition of success to the Rockford sideline after spending the past three years as an assistant at UW-Whitewater. While at Whitewater, Rohde was heavily involved in all aspects of the Warhawk men's soccer program. Some of his duties included recruiting, conducting training sessions, scouting opponents, overseeing the academic success of his players, and directing camps. The Warhawks won at least 10 games in all three of his years including a pair of 14-win seasons. UW-Whitewater also earned back-to-back at-large bids to the NCAA Division III Tournament and advanced to the second round on each occasion.

Rohde entered the coaching ranks after a standout, three-year career with the Warhawks from 2012-14. After making six starts at goalkeeper as a member of the UW-Milwaukee men's soccer program in 2011, Rohde transferred to UW-Whitewater and made an immediate impact on the team. A two-year starter, Rohde helped the Warhawks reach the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament as a senior captain in 2014. He was named third team NSCAA/NCAA Division III All-North Region, second team All-WIAC and honorable mention NSCAA Wisconsin all-state. Rohde led the conference in save percentage (.815) and shutouts (6.2) during his senior campaign. He wrapped up his career with 12 shutouts, fourth-most in program history.

After graduating from college Rohde played multiple seasons for the Milwaukee Torrent, a professional outdoor team in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). He now currently is a member of the Bavarians USPL team, a amateur team based in Milwaukee.

Rohde is the owner, founder and director of Divergent Goalkeeping Academy, a training program that specializes in goalkeeper specific training based in the Waukesha area. He is also now the Director of Goalkeeping for FC Wisconsin, where he oversees all of the club's goalkeepers from ages U10-U18/U19.

Rohde earned his bachelor's degree in General Management in 2015 and his master's degree in Athletic Administration in 2016 from UW-Whitewater.
