he Rockford University men's basketball team enters the final week of the regular season right in the thick of the race for one of the final two spots in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament. With just two games remaining, the Regents trail both Concordia University Wisconsin and Marian University by a single game for the fifth and sixth seeds. Rockford will have a chance to vault into a tie for at least one of the remaining places as the Regents begin their week on Wednesday night at Concordia University Wisconsin before concluding their regular season on Saturday at Dominican University. If Rockford wins both of its remaining two games, the Regents will still need help to secure a spot in tournament. The Regents will either need Concordia Wisconsin to lose its remaining game on Saturday at Concordia Chicago or Marian to lose one of its remaining two games at Lakeland or at Aurora.
