October 27, 2012 | Football Falcons Soar Over Regents MEQUON, Wis. - The Regents were looking to keep the momentum off of last week's win going today against the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons. Rockford entered Saturday's game in 7th place in the Northern Athletics Conference with a 1-3 record while the Falcons were tied for second place going 3-1 in NAC play.
October 23, 2012 | Football Botello Named NAC Football Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week ROCKFORD, Ill.– For the second time this season a member of the Rockford College football team has been honored by the Northern Athletics Conference for his outstanding performance on the field. On Monday, junior running back Matthew Botello (Whittier, Calif./Pioneer) was named Northern Athletics Conference Offensive Football Student-Athlete of the Week.
October 20, 2012 | Football Botello Powers Regents to Victory ROCKFORD, Ill. - Saturday afternoon brought a long overdue sight for Regents fans as the Rockford College football team defeated the Maranatha Baptist Bible College Crusaders 34-14. It was the first Northern Athletics Conference win for the Rockford College football program since November 7th, 2009 when Rockford won at Marantha 16-12.

For the second straight week Rockford hit the road for a tough Northern Athletics Conference matchup. This week Rockford took on the defending Northern Athletics Conference champion Benedictine University Eagles.
October 6, 2012 | Football Muskies Pull Away from Regents in Second Half SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - After a difficult loss last week, the Regents were looking to rebound on the road on Saturday against the Lakeland College Muskies. Rockford had lost all four previous meetings against Lakeland and had been shutout in each of the previous three meetings. Both the Regents and the Muskies were coming off difficult loses last week and were looking to avoid an 0-2 start in NAC play this season.
September 29, 2012 | Football Cougars Spoil 2012 Homecoming for Regents ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Concordia University Chicago Cougars spoiled homecoming 2012 for the Regents as they passed their way to a 48-10 victory Saturday afternoon at Sam Greeley Field. The Regents, coming off their bye week were no match for the Cougars passing attack as Cougar Quaterbacks threw for 257 yards and 4 touchdowns.

On Monday, Arnold was named Northern Athletics Conference Defensive Student-Athlete of the week for the week ending September 16th.
September 15, 2012 | Football Regents Run Through Comets to Snap Skid ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford College football team snapped a 23 game losing streak on Saturday with a 28-12 victory over Olivet College. The Regents last win dated back to November 7th, 2009 when they beat Maranatha Baptist Bible College on the road 16-12.
September 8, 2012 | Football Duhawks Shut Down Regents DUBUQUE, Iowa - After being shut out it its home opener, the Rockford College football team took to the road looking to even its record and pick up its first win of the season. The Regents lined up against the Duhawks of Loras College who were also shutout in their season opener last week. The two teams have squared off in each of the last two years with Loras winning both matchups including a 48-17 victory for the Duhawks last season.
September 1, 2012 | Football Football Drops Season Opener at Home ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Regents dropped their season opener to Westminster College 40-0 at Sam Greeley Field Saturday afternoon. Rain slowed down both offenses in the 1st half as Westminster led at the break 7-0.
August 30, 2012 | Football 2012 Football Season Preview Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford College football team heads into the 2012 season looking to turn the corner and find itself back on the winning sideline. The Regents have struggled over the past few seasons to find consistent production on both sides of the ball. Rockford ended its 2011 season with back-to-back losses where the Regents had a chance to win the game on its final possession. The 2012 season appears to have a brighter outlook than previous ones as the team now boasts a much larger roster including some key returners and new players looking to make an immediate impact.
